Some believers have been encouraged and helped in their walk with Christ by church leadership. Some have been badly hurt in their spiritual journey. In some cases, the damage done drove people away from church and even their faith. And some people aren’t here today because of leaders that failed them. It’s no secret that scandals and headlines about church leaders have done untold damage to people’s perception of the church in our culture. That is why it is imperative that we have a biblical understanding of church leadership.
